comments on ML3
It took me some time to rearrange my system but now it is all set. The least I could say is that I am quite satisfied with the new sound. It was quite an adventurous move to buy such ultra expensive amps without having heard them prior to making the decision. Obviously all my fears are in the past now. I am not a reviewer in a hi- end magazine - so in brief I would say - amazingly true sound even with the most difficult to be reproduced instruments, power and delicacy and all that's necessary for a true musical experience. As far as I am a big music collector with 15,000 albums in my collection, for testing purposes I initially listened to these types of music: big band jazz, small combo jazz, chamber and big orchestra symphony music, new and old rock and pop, vocal and acapella music, etc.
I also had the opportunity to compare the LAMM ML3s (together with Alexandria X-2, ARC REF 3, DCS Scarlatti, KUZMA XL Stabi the upgraded version, Koetsu Jade Platinum cartridge with Valhala speaker and power cables and Odin interconnects, Tom Evans the Groove phonostage and Finite Elemente supports) to other world recognized brands of amps in the same price league -- and to my satisfaction the results are in favor of my system.
